Bottle Drives

We
will pay you a full deposit on all of your containers. You
should register your bottle drive in advance so we
can prepare
for your arrival. For tips on maximizing your fundraising

We now take
all ready to drink alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage
containers that are sold in BC, including drink boxes,
gable top containers and glass bottles.

We do not
take any milk or soya product containers.

The containers
must be recognizable and with labels (no home brew containers).

The refunds
are according to size, but you must separate all types
of materials.

1 litre = 20¢

Non-Alcoholic Ready to Drink Beverages
Aluminum Pop Cans
Full bag 288 cans (12 flats of 24 cans), mark partial quantity bags clearly.
Non-alcoholic beer is considered pop. |
Plastic
1 litre and under – full bag 150, mark partial quantity bags clearly.
Over 1 litre – full bag 50, mark partial quantity bags clearly.
Over 3 litres – full bag 20, mark partial quantity bags clearly.
No milk or milk substitutes, no cider or cooler bottles.
DO NOT MIX GLASS AND PLASTIC. |
Glass
1 litre and under – full bag 50, mark partial quantity bags clearly.
over 1 litre – full bag 10 and mark partial quantity bags clearly.
Non-alcoholic beer or cider is considered pop.
Double bag all glass products.
DO NOT MIX GLASS AND PLASTIC. |
Bi-Metal
1 litre and under – full bag 150, labels on.
over 1 litre – full bag 50, labels on.
Mark quantity partial bags clearly.
Juice only, no meal replacements, soup or other. |
Juice Bag in a Box
Example: Sun-Rype 6L, full bag 10, flatten box with bag inside.
Both bag and box are required for refund. |
Foil Drink Pouches/Tetra Packs
Example: Capri-Sun, bundle with elastics in groups of fifty.
Do not mix with drink boxes. |
Drink Boxes
(small ) 0 - 500 ml – full bag 360.
(large) 500 – 1 litre – full bag 100.
Mark partial quantity bags clearly.
No milk or meal replacement products, no soya milk, rice milk, or soup stock. |
Gable Tops
(small) 0 – 454 ml – full bag 330.
(medium) 455 – 1 litre – full bag 100.
(large) over 1 litre – full bag 50.
Mark partial quantity bags clearly.
No milk or meal replacement products, no soya milk, rice milk, or soup stock. |
Alcoholic Ready to Drink Beverage Containers
Beer and Cider Cans
Full bag 288 cans (12 flats of 24 cans) mark partial quantity bags clearly.
Non-alcoholic beer is considered pop. Encorp bags should be used. |
Domestic Beer Bottles (Twist tops)
Leave bottles in cases, all loose bottles without cases place upright in ordinary strong boxes. Keep tall bottles separate and cases dry.
Mark quantities clearly.
No pop bottles or soft cider. |
Wine, Spirits, & Import (Pop tops) Bottles
Separate 1 litre and under – 50 double bagged from over 1 litre – 10 double bagged
- place upright in strong boxes or double bag.
Mark quantity on side of box.
No pop, or cocktail mixes. |
Plastic
1 litre and under – full bag 150.
Over 1 litre – full bag 50.
Mark partial quantity bags clearly, removing caps. |
Wine Bag in a Box
Full bag 10 – flatten box with bag inside.
No non-alcoholic juice. |
